Locally and independently owned for over 35 years, we have a tailored approach to add value to commercial property assets and projects. We provide our clients with three integrated services in advisory, transactional services and asset management – all working towards producing tailored value-adding outcomes.

Drawing on decades of market experience, we offer insights and strategies to identify opportunities to revitalise underperforming office or retail properties.

We partner with our clients to maximise and sustain results, while minimising investment and operational risks. Our end goal is always to optimise portfolio worth through enhanced asset value and strong leasing outcomes through our three-pronged approach.



CHESTERTON/TRIDENT HISTORY TIMELINE

1984

Just a year after Raine and Horne was launched, Shaun Douglas joined its Commercial Leasing arm, focusing on new projects in Brisbane’s CBD and fringe.

1989

Shaun acquired a substantial holding in Raine and Horne’s commercial and residential franchises.

1992

Shaun was appointed Joint-Managing Director of the Raine and Horne group.

1998

Shaun decided to move away from the Raine and Horne network and launched Chesterton International – a full service global real estate firm.

2007

Ben Sikalas joined Chesterton International to head up its commercial leasing operations, later becoming a company director.

2015

Adam Morley and Michael Tree joined Chesterton International as Company Directors, leading it’s asset management team.

2019

Chesterton International acquired Trident Corporation, a property advisory business with a strong 16-year history in Brisbane. The acquisition signalled the start of moves to reshape Chesterton into a property investment management and advisory services firm.

December 2019

Chesterton International changed its name to Trident Property Advisory, with Amena Reza appointed CEO of the reshaped business.

Mark Banks

Senior Property Manager

Mark Banks has been involved in property management since 1992 and his portfolios have included some of Brisbane’s largest commercial properties.

Prior to joining Trident in November 2002, Mark was managing a $250 million portfolio of retail, commercial and industrial properties and he now manages shopping centres and commercial buildings in Brisbane, Ipswich and across South East Queensland.

Mark thrives on the dynamics of an ever-changing industry and prides himself on managing each property in his portfolio with integrity and fairness, providing reliable, decisive and knowledgeable management to his clients.

Warren Jopson

Sales and Leasing Executive

Warren Jopson has been involved in the South East Queensland property market for over 17 years and has extensive experience in the sale of strata grade assets. He has been involved in many areas of commercial, retail and industrial property and prides himself on being able to communicate with clients.

Warren joined Trident almost 10 years ago and in recent years has been one of the most active agents in the sale of strata title properties in the Brisbane CBD and Spring Hill.

His philosophy is simple – listen to what people want so he can match them to the right property.

In many cases Warren’s clients are smaller operators and he gets great satisfaction from helping them achieve their goals. He loves nothing more than knowing he has related to clients on a personal level and receiving feedback that they have enjoyed dealing with him.

Sam Christensen

Property Manager

Sam Christensen has been a member of the Trident team since February 2018 and holds qualifications in marketing, finance, technology and property, as well as having extensive experience across residential, retail and commercial fields. 

Property has always been a passion for Sam and he believes in going “above and beyond” to ensure the best possible result for stakeholders, whether it be in facilities management, capex, property management or asset management.

In a fast-paced and ever-changing industry, Sam’s broad property management skills enable him to be working on a multi-million-dollar CBD building upgrade one day and negotiating lease terms with tenants of a large retail space the next.

Sam currently sits on the Young Property Professionals QLD committee for the Australian Property Institute.

Amanda Shepherd

Senior Accounting Officer

Amanda Shepherd’s career in finance and accounting began in Australia before she spent two years working in England.

She returned home to join Trident in June 2015 and is proud to be part of a team that offers a high level of service to both staff and clients and is capable of adapting its services to meet their needs.

Amanda is passionate about finance and always eager to learn new systems and processes. She loves the attention to detail that goes with her role and thrives on the challenges in a field where no two days are the same.

Ben Williams

Sales and Leasing Executive

Ben Williams joined Trident in August 2017 as a Commercial Property Analyst before moving into a Leasing Executive role in the Brisbane CBD.

He graduated from the University of Queensland in 2017 with a Bachelor of Business Management – majoring in Real Estate and Development and is passionate about all aspects of the property industry, meeting new people and is dedicated to helping clients in any way possible.

Ben prides himself on being able to think laterally and creatively, to provide clients with solutions to their property requirements while also adding value to their asset.

He is passionate about using his deep knowledge of commercial property to guide property owners to generate income and add value to their investments and says Trident has provided him with a deep understanding of the intricacies and relationships between leasing, sales, management and design.

Gretta Lloyd

Executive Support Officer

Gretta is the newest member of the Trident team, joining in January 2020 as Executive Support Officer.

Gretta has vast experience in executive support and office manager roles in the legal, media and retail sectors and has worked for Maurice Blackburn, Shine Lawyers and national retail brand DISSH in senior roles, managing office, administration activities, as well as external client management.

Gretta expertly draws on her experience in office management, administration, HR, marketing and payroll to support the executive team in exceeding client expectations, while also ensuring the company is well placed operationally going forward.

Gretta loves her role as it continually expands her broad range of skills and no day is the same – just the way she likes it.

Peter Gough

Finance Officer

Peter Gough’s career began in 2010 as an account manager for a large Brisbane legal firm.

He joined Trident in February 2017 and never tires of the varied roles his position covers, including payroll, invoicing and helping Trident clients with financial matters.

Peter is a multi-tasker with an eye for detail and a focus on providing the highest standard of work within a reasonable time, every time. He enjoys working in the organised and logical world of finance and loves nothing more than providing a tailor-made service to suit the needs of Trident clients.

Rachel Cooper

Property Manager

Rachel Cooper has been in the real estate industry for more than 10 years, starting out in centre management on the NSW Mid North Coast before moving into residential property management in Brisbane.

She joined the Trident team in July 2017 and thrives on being able to adapt and evolve with each client, tailoring her knowledge and experience to help them achieve their goals.

Rachel is passionate about property management and is devoted to developing new skills on both a business and personal level so she can excel at managing landlords’ assets and helping them succeed.

Freddy Pittman

Senior Property Manager

Freddy Pittman is an experienced property manager across the retail, commercial and industrial fields and prior to joining Trident was Centre Manager at one of the top retail centres in the country, where he delivered exceptional results.

Most recently, he managed a property portfolio of 150,000m² GLA including The Rocket, which is renowned as the Gold Coast’s premier office building. There he strengthened tenant and stakeholder relationships and implemented asset presentation improvement programs to facilitate significant leasing deals and add value.

A member of the Trident team since 2017, Freddy holds a Diploma of Management, a Graduate Certificate of Business Administration, and is currently completing his MBA. He is a Fellow at The Institute of Managers and Leaders and a member of The Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In his pursuit of delivering excellence, Freddy focuses on creating dynamic strategies which achieve exceptional results and add value for his clients through the life of their asset – from acquisition to divestment.

Nick Sydenham

Commercial/ Retail Property Analyst

Nick Sydenham joined Trident in early 2019, eager to start developing his skills in office and retail leasing in Brisbane’s fringe. 

Growing up in a family that owned a real estate agency, property was always a career Nick wanted to pursue and he is proud to be a third generation agent. 

His family background means he knows what it takes to get results and he understands that agents must be proactive to stay ahead of the game. He enjoys putting deals together and building relationships with people from different industries.

Nick prides himself on his communication and canvassing skills, which he uses to create and maintain relationships with clients and tenants. He is always willing to “go the extra mile” – from cold calling through to helping tenants with their final fit-out designs.

Peter Holst

Centre Manager Underwood Marketplace

Peter Holst’s real estate career began more than 30 years ago, managing South-East Queensland resorts and private clubs in the United States. For 15 years he ran his own company and has also worked for some of the biggest names in the property management industry, including being in charge of several major shopping centres.

Peter joined Trident at Underwood Marketplace in May 2019 and thrives on the daily challenges his role presents as he interacts with tenants, contractors and colleagues with honesty, enthusiasm and integrity.

He thrives on a challenge and gets his greatest satisfaction from finding innovative solutions to solve problems that others haven’t been able to.

Jeff Litte

Centre Manager DFO Jindalee

Jeff Litte has been in the property industry for more than 20 years and has a wealth of experience in both commercial and retail real estate. With that experience comes a willingness to adapt to changing retail environments.

Before joining the Trident team as the Centre Manager of DFO Jindalee, Jeff was responsible for the successful leasing of 6600sqm of supermarket and specialty stores in north Brisbane.

He believes it is important to listen to other peoples’ points of view and after many years in the industry, remains passionate about accepting new challenges and interacting with clients, tenants and members of the public.

With DFO Jindalee undergoing a $15 million redevelopment, Jeff is enjoying being a part of the dream that is taking shape.

Cheyenne Leahy

Reception/ Admin DFO Jindalee

Cheyenne Leahy has a background in retail and customer service and loves interacting with tenants, customers and contractors to help create a positive experience at DFO Jindalee.

After working as store manager for a national brand, Cheyenne joined Trident in July 2019, bringing not only vast experience to the role but also a Diploma in Business Administration, a Certificate III in Business Management and a Certificate III in Retail Operations.

She believes a positive outlook and a happy smile are essential to her role and that her willingness to go “above and beyond” makes her stand out from the rest.

Shirley Huang

Reception/ Administration Underwood Marketplace

Shirley Huang loves helping people and she has plenty of opportunity to do that in her role at Underwood Marketplace.

A true professional with wide experience in property management, Shirley takes pride in representing Trident in dealings with shopping centre tenants and members of the public.

She loves the day-to-day challenges of her job, including being at the forefront of implementing new initiatives using her strong communication and task management skills. 

After working on four continents during her career, Shirley speaks several languages and has a reputation as a team player who can also work independently.
