Trident Property Advisory has been proudly independently owned for over 37 years. We connect tenants, capital and investors with property and our successes are a result of bringing the best people together.  

Drawing on decades of market experience, we offer insights and strategies to identify opportunities to revitalise underperforming office or retail properties.

We partner with our clients to maximise and sustain results, while minimising investment and operational risks. Our end goal is always to optimise portfolio worth through enhanced asset value and strong leasing outcomes through our three-pronged approach.



Just a year after Raine and Horne was launched, Shaun Douglas joined its Commercial Leasing arm, focusing on new projects in Brisbane’s CBD and fringe.


Shaun acquired a substantial holding in Raine and Horne’s commercial and residential franchises.


Shaun was appointed Joint-Managing Director of the Raine and Horne group.


Shaun decided to move away from the Raine and Horne network and launched Chesterton International – a full service global real estate firm.


Ben Sikalas joined Chesterton International to head up its commercial leasing operations, later becoming a company director.


Michael Tree joined Chesterton International as Company Director, leading it’s asset management team.


Sam Christensen joined Chesterton International’s Asset Management Team, later becoming a company director.


Chesterton International acquired Trident Corporation, a property advisory business with a strong 16-year history in Brisbane. The acquisition signalled the start of moves to reshape Chesterton into a property investment management and advisory services firm.

December 2019

Chesterton International changed its name to Trident Property Advisory.

Mark Banks

Centre Manager | Market Square Shopping Centre

Mark Banks has been involved in property management since 1992 and his portfolios have included some of Brisbane’s largest commercial properties.

Prior to joining Trident in November 2002, Mark was managing a $250 million portfolio of retail, commercial and industrial properties and he now manages shopping centres and commercial buildings in Brisbane, Ipswich and across South East Queensland.

Mark thrives on the dynamics of an ever-changing industry and prides himself on managing each property in his portfolio with integrity and fairness, providing reliable, decisive and knowledgeable management to his clients.

Alan Grant

Centre Manager | Underwood Marketplace

With more than 20 years’ experience working in the Retail Industry, Alan has held both Operations Manager and Centre Manager roles across centres in Queensland and NSW. He is passionate about the industry as he enjoys the various relationships with Landlords, Tenants and also the retail customers as they are all unique, but equally important.

Alan possesses a hands-on approach and understands that listening is of vital importance. This approach extends to all relationships that he holds. He believes that by liaising & listening, you are well placed to understand what is required by all parties and also what is required to make a successful partnership.

Jeff Litte

Centre Manager | DFO Jindalee

Jeff Litte has been in the property industry for more than 20 years and has a wealth of experience in both commercial and retail real estate. With that experience comes a willingness to adapt to changing retail environments.

Before joining the Trident team as the Centre Manager of DFO Jindalee, Jeff was responsible for the successful leasing of 6600sqm of supermarket and specialty stores in north Brisbane.

He believes it is important to listen to other peoples’ points of view and after many years in the industry, remains passionate about accepting new challenges and interacting with clients, tenants and members of the public.

With DFO Jindalee undergoing a $15 million redevelopment, Jeff is enjoying being a part of the dream that is taking shape.

Ben Williams

Sales and Leasing Executive

Ben Williams joined Trident in August 2017 as a Commercial Property Analyst before moving into a Leasing Executive role in the Brisbane CBD.

He graduated from the University of Queensland in 2017 with a Bachelor of Business Management – majoring in Real Estate and Development and is passionate about all aspects of the property industry, meeting new people and is dedicated to helping clients in any way possible.

Ben prides himself on being able to think laterally and creatively, to provide clients with solutions to their property requirements while also adding value to their asset.

He is passionate about using his deep knowledge of commercial property to guide property owners to generate income and add value to their investments and says Trident has provided him with a deep understanding of the intricacies and relationships between leasing, sales, management and design.

Rachel Cooper

Property Manager

Rachel Cooper has been in the real estate industry for more than 10 years, starting out in centre management on the NSW Mid North Coast before moving into residential property management in Brisbane.

She joined the Trident team in July 2017 and thrives on being able to adapt and evolve with each client, tailoring her knowledge and experience to help them achieve their goals.

Rachel is passionate about property management and is devoted to developing new skills on both a business and personal level so she can excel at managing landlords’ assets and helping them succeed.

Tommie Cheung

Admin Support Officer | Market Square Shopping Centre

Tommie has a background within sales and offers professional customer care when liaising with all levels of stakeholders.  He takes pride in ensuring that the company best delivers on its promises to customers by taking ownership of the customers’ journey as they connect with our service offering.

Having multi-lingual ability covering English, Papua New Guinean, Cantonese and Mandarin, it allows Tommie to engage with a broad range of customers and provide them with confidence in their dealings with us.

Amanda Shepherd

Senior Accounting Officer

Amanda Shepherd’s career in finance and accounting began in Australia before she spent two years working in England.

She returned home to join Trident in June 2015 and is proud to be part of a team that offers a high level of service to both staff and clients and is capable of adapting its services to meet their needs.

Amanda is passionate about finance and always eager to learn new systems and processes. She loves the attention to detail that goes with her role and thrives on the challenges in a field where no two days are the same.

Gretta Lloyd

Executive Support Officer

Gretta is the newest member of the Trident team, joining in January 2020 as Executive Support Officer.

Gretta has vast experience in executive support and office manager roles in the legal, media and retail sectors and has worked for Maurice Blackburn, Shine Lawyers and national retail brand DISSH in senior roles, managing office, administration activities, as well as external client management.

Gretta expertly draws on her experience in office management, administration, HR, marketing and payroll to support the executive team in exceeding client expectations, while also ensuring the company is well placed operationally going forward.

Gretta loves her role as it continually expands her broad range of skills and no day is the same – just the way she likes it.
