Australian Hotel Murgon

We are proud to share the successful completion of the extensive revitalisation project of the Australian Hotel Murgon for our valued client the Ganim Family. This is our third $2M+ project for the Ganim Family in their hotel and leisure portfolio, having run the project coordination and development of the Gladstone Reef Hotel and Aspley Central.

A key offering of Trident Property Advisory is the ability to simplify multi-million-dollar projects through the construction industry relationships we have built over 40+ years of continual business and our experience in maximising efficiency in design management. TPA were engaged in this project following the success for our client on previous projects to maintain architectural intent on a budget.

Originally established in 1912, the Australian Hotel has stood as a cherished local landmark for over 110 years with the Hotel and adjoining bottle shop serving as a key social and service hub for the Murgon community and surrounding region.

Delivered in two key stages, to keep the Hotel and drive-thru liquor store trading (in order to maintain a continuous offering to patrons and cashflow for our client) we had the privilege of working alongside our client as project advisors, collaborating closely with the team at MELROSE to bring this $2M+ project to life. This revitalisation project was carefully designed to preserve the historic character while delivering key upgrades, additional function facilities, increased ceiling heights and enhance the overall experience for patrons. From restoring & protecting some of the original architectural elements & implementing contemporary improvements, the project has revitalised an iconic pub for the region and improved the commercial profitability, operational efficiency and asset value for our client.
